How T.R.U.T.H. Christian Academy handles information submitted through the school website.

Overview and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how T.R.U.T.H. Christian Academy (TCA) handles information submitted through this website. It applies to the public website, contact form, online enrollment application, protected LIFEPAC grade form, and website administration features. Separate school records, curriculum platforms, student information systems, and third-party services may have additional policies or notices.

Information We Collect

Information is collected when a visitor or authorized user chooses to provide it. Contact submissions may include a name, email address, subject, and message. Enrollment applications may include student identifying information, date of birth, grade level, parent or guardian contact information, household address, emergency contact information, comments, and an electronic acknowledgment. Authorized LIFEPAC parents may submit student name, subject, unit, grade type, and score. Administrative and protected parent access may also use identity information supplied by TCA's authentication provider. Server and security systems may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and request logs as part of normal operation and abuse prevention.

How We Use Information

TCA uses submitted information to respond to inquiries, evaluate enrollment requests, maintain academic and administrative workflows, process LIFEPAC grade submissions, communicate with families, secure the website, troubleshoot technical issues, and meet legitimate school recordkeeping and operational needs. TCA does not use these forms to collect payment information or passwords.

Service Providers

TCA uses service providers to operate the website and related functions. These may include website hosting and infrastructure providers, a managed PostgreSQL database provider, Cloudron for authentication, Cloudflare Turnstile for anti-spam and abuse protection, and TCA's configured email service for submission notifications. Information may be processed by these providers only as needed to deliver the applicable service. Links to the TCA Store or other third-party websites lead to separate services with their own privacy practices.

Student and Family Information

The website is used in connection with school services and may receive information about students from parents, guardians, or authorized users. Families should not submit Social Security numbers, passwords, payment card information, medical records, or other highly sensitive information through general website forms unless TCA specifically provides an approved method for that purpose. Student and educational records are handled according to TCA policies and applicable legal requirements.

Retention and Security

TCA retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, school operations and recordkeeping, security, dispute resolution, and applicable legal requirements. TCA uses administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, including authenticated administrative access and encrypted network connections. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website uses essential cookies or similar technologies needed for secure sessions and authentication. Cloudflare Turnstile may also use browser signals and related technologies to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. TCA does not currently use the new website for third-party advertising or behavioral advertising tracking. See the Cookie Policy for additional information.

Your Choices and Contact

You may contact TCA if you have questions about information submitted through the website or need to correct information you previously provided. Requests concerning student or school records may require identity verification and may be handled under separate school record procedures. Contact TCA using the information shown on the Contact page.

Policy Updates

TCA may update this Privacy Policy as website features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The current version should be reviewed before the website is placed into production.

Marketing Email and Engagement Information

When a person has subscribed to TCA marketing communications, TCA may use its configured email delivery provider, Mailjet, to deliver messages and process delivery, bounce, unsubscribe, spam-complaint, open-detection, and link-click events. Open detection depends on an invisible image and may be blocked or altered by an email provider or privacy setting, so it is not a precise record that a message was read. Tracked links may record that a link was requested. TCA uses this information to operate campaigns, honor communication preferences, investigate delivery problems, suppress unsafe or opted-out addresses, and understand general engagement. Recipients can use the preference or unsubscribe link included in a marketing message. Raw Mailjet event payloads are automatically scrubbed after the configured retention period; normalized delivery and aggregate campaign records may be retained for operational, compliance, and historical reporting needs.

Custom Website Forms

TCA may publish additional website forms for school inquiries, event responses, volunteer interest, records-related requests, or other administrative purposes. Each form identifies the information requested and may send a receipt to an email address supplied by the submitter. Form responses are stored in the protected TCA administration portal and are available only to authorized staff. Please do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, payment-card details, or other information that the form does not specifically request.
